What you need to know

Rob Falsini has been busking in London for the better part of the last 23 years. Having arrived in the UK from Italy in 2000, he quickly became known for his exciting performances in Covent Garden, where he eventually earned himself the proud title of ‘RobCoventGarden’.

Rob has always had an enduring love for street performance, but he also spent the past two decades developing an illustrious career in other aspects of the music world. In the mid-2000s, Rob was approached by Benoit Jutras (of Cirque du Soleil fame) and asked to be the lead singer in a Las Vegas show. Rob, alongside fellow performer Franco Dragone, became singer and co-lyricist of ‘La Reve’, one of the largest stage music shows in LV history, with the soundtrack selling over 100,000 copies.

In 2008, Rob returned to London. There, he continued to play, busk, record, and write. He has sold an incredible 100,000+ copies of his own albums in a solo capacity.

And, despite all of his success, Rob is still very much a firm fixture around the busking hub that is Covent Garden. He takes to the streets with his guitar when he’s not on tour or in the studio.

Even to this day, he continues to bring joy to thousands of people around the streets of London.

Why you should listen to Rob Falsini music.

Rob’s joyous, effortless, no-nonsense approach to music is exactly what most of us want to listen to - especially if we need a pick-me-up after a day spent around the busy streets of London.

Rob is at his best when he pares his music back to being just him, his guitar, and his lilting, melodic voice. He has an uncanny ability to capture the poignancy and potency behind many modern-day rock ballads; his cover of Snow Patrol’s ‘Chasing Cars’ is regarded as one of the best-ever recorded covers.

Where you can catch Rob Falsini performing

Rob says that London’s Covent Garden area gave him the “inspiration” he needed to be an award-winning, mega-selling singer. So, it makes sense that Covent Garden is the place he has returned to time and time again in his career.

Rob still frequents the West End area regularly, meaning you can catch him there if you’re lucky.

What else you should know about Rob Falsini

Rob has released four CDs to date, and his latest album, Spanish Nights, is available to buy on his website.

The artist has also been vocal in the courageous fight to stop London’s Westminster Council from introducing expensive licensing conditions on performers hoping to busk around Covent Garden. Rob has said that these new rules could threaten talented performers who just want to bring much-needed joy to the streets of London.
